World Floorcoverings first opened in the year 2000 by partners Darrell Cook and Perry Ruptash. At the time Darrell and Perry each had 17 years experience in flooring sales. They applied this knowledge to open a new company. Sadly, three months in, Perry passed away from a serious car accident. Our condolences still go out to the Ruptash family. Shortly after, Darryl Baker joined the World Floorcoverings team. Soon followed Bob Burns, Robin Templeton (who is now enjoying the retired life), Brian Jerebic, Cody Woroschuk and Jack Mackay.
