With a name like Jean-Guy (pronounced Zhaun-Gee), you’d think I was born and raised in Quebec...however, I’d only been once, and it was only for a few hours (I know that sounds weird and no it wasn’t on a flight layover...call me to find out what happened!) I was born and raised in Bonnyville Alberta on a large acreage where I was taught the small town values of integrity, loyalty and to treat others as you would want to be treated. I moved to Red Deer in 2001 when I was offered a position as a Territory Account Executive for an automotive lender out of the United States that just set up shop in Canada, which essentially meant that I taught automotive dealerships how to use their products. This only lasted a short period as that lender left the country due to large financial losses because of the short recession that “9-11” caused in the US, and they had to cut costs.
