Shant Purutoglu, CEO of Gem Lab, was born into a family of jewellers which spanned for decades. After starting his career out on the retail side of the industry, Shant decided to venture out on his own and founded Gem Lab Appraisal Services in 2003. Our goal and mission at Gem Lab is to be recognized for our consistency, fairness and accuracy. This in turn will set a consumer's mind at ease when purchasing an item from a retail store with one of our professional appraisals.
