In 1925, Walter Townshend and Son Chimney Service opened its’ doors for the first time. Since then, 5 generations have worked tirelessly to maintain a professional image of a trustworthy, honest and reliable service. Over the years, we have achieved many milestones that have improved the standard of service for both our business and the City of Toronto. Two generations ago, we were an integral part of initiating and establishing the Metro Toronto Licensing Commission, ensuring accountability within the industry. Therefore, Walter Townshend and Son was the first business in Toronto to be granted with Metro License B1.
