Located in Calgary, Alberta, STRAND Home Inspections is owned by native Calgarian Rick Strand. Rick holds the international designation of CPI® (Certified Professional Inspector®) and conducts every single inspection personally. The goal is to put you in a better position to make informed decisions based upon the state of the homes' systems and components. Rick's father started STRAND Enterprises Inc. in 1982 and in the 13 years from 1996 through 2009, Rick worked as operations manager sourcing & procuring building and construction supplies (among many other products) primarily for export to oil exploration companies over-seas. Rick has always been very mechanically inclined and previously worked for 8 years as a mechanic, designer & fabricator in the commercial & residential paint spray industry. In 2002 Rick purchased STRAND Enterprises Inc. and in 2009 transitioned into home inspections with a subsequent re-branding of the company to STRAND Home Inspections. With extensive home inspection education (refer to the 'credentials' page for the details), exceptional computer skills and many years of business experience, Rick has a lot to offer his clients.
